Known For
A wide range of yoga classes in a clean, consistent studio setting, led by some of Vancouver’s most experienced instructors.
Getting There
Located on West 4th Avenue, the Kitsilano studio is easily accessible by transit, with nearby street parking. It’s on the second floor, head up the stairs and check in at the front desk.
The Space
The Kitsilano location has two studio rooms: one heated and one unheated. Both studio rooms have large windows and lots of natural light. The larger room is heated and has mirrors; the smaller room does not.
Amenities & Changerooms
The spacious men’s and women’s changerooms offer showers, hairdryers, and lockers with code access (bring your own towel or rent one). The tea lounge adds a cozy touch, and the rooftop patio is open seasonally during warmer months.
Class Types
Hatha, Gentle Hatha, Flow, YHot, Power, Yin, Barre
Best Beginner Class:
Hatha, Gentle Hatha, and YHot are good beginner-friendly options, especially if you’re just getting into the flow of things. Or try Yin for a slower-paced class for grounding and relaxing.
Fun Classes to Try
Try YSculpt for yoga-inspired strength or Vinyasa/Power for a dynamic flow. With classes all day, you can find one to start or end your day. Each teacher adds their own style, so classes may vary.
What to Expect in Class
Expect well-led classes, a calm, welcoming vibe, and styles ranging from restorative yin to sweaty power flows.
Best if You Like
Ideal for those seeking variety, consistency, and a full schedule with amenities that fit a busy lifestyle.
Pro Tips
Arrive early as classes fill up fast, especially mornings and evenings. For variety and flexibility, YYOGA’s membership offers great value across all five Vancouver studios.

I love YYOGA! They have so many classes and I love that you can use your pass at the different locations. They have a great variety of classes, I really like the flow classes and power yoga, and the tea is a nice touch after class. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver.
