Known For
Heated yoga and high-intensity sculpt classes that merge strength training with breath-based movement. Known for its clean aesthetic and strong classes, Karma bridges the gap between yoga and boutique fitness.
Getting There
Located on Union Street in the Marina District, Karma Yoga is easily accessible by public transport and is easy to find.
Paid parking lots nearby, but make sure you allow extra time for parking.
The main entrance to the studio is at street level, with a ramp that makes it accessible. The studios and changerooms are on the lower level, which is not wheels accessible.
The Space
There are three studio rooms: 2 heated (small + large), and the Yin room is room-temperature. The studio rooms are all on the lower level. Mats and all props are provided for yin; mat placement is marked in the heated studios (BYO mat).
Amenities & Changerooms
Men's and women's changerooms are fully equipped with showers, washrooms, lockers (with code locks), and hair dryers.
Class Types
Hot HIIT Flow, Power Flow (45/60/75 mins), Hot HIIT Flow w/ weights, Yin Flow w/ oils, Good Karma Flow (45/60mins), Hot Pilates
Best Beginner Class:
Good Karma Flow is a great place to start and try out the heat and class – a donation-based flow class. Yin Flow w/ oils is nice if you’re looking for something more chill.
Fun Classes to Try
Hot HIIT Flow – a full-body workout in the heat set to fun music (more Pilates-like than yoga)
What to Expect in Class
Expect heated rooms, dynamic sequences, and strong playlists. Whether you’re taking a power vinyasa or a sculpt-style HIIT class, you’ll sweat, flow, and push yourself. Many classes incorporate weights, cardio bursts, and core work, all rooted in mindful movement. Yin/Restorative classes are chill and candlelit.
Best if You Like
If you love a strong, sweaty workout and want the benefits of both yoga and strength training in one place. If you’re into high-energy, music-driven classes that combine breath with movement, this is your spot.
Pro Tips
Be prepared to sweat: most classes are heated and high energy, especially the hot HIIT and sculpt-style formats. Karma offers a wide range of classes, so it’s worth trying a few to find your favorites. From fiery, fast-paced HIIT to chill, grounding yin, there’s something here for whatever mood your body’s in.
