Known For
Invigorating, dynamic flows, powerful sequences, and a playful atmosphere that keeps you inspired
Getting There
Pure Yoga is located in Liberty Village, and is easily accessible by public transit (bus, GO train) and there's plenty of street parking nearby. The studio itself is on the lower level of the building, with the entrance off of Fraser Ave clearly marked by the Pure Yoga logo.
The Space
Brick-and-beam feel with lots of natural light and live plants. All classes are heated except for yin/restorative, so expect to sweat. There are no markers for spots so put your mat anywhere. Mirrors at the front/side of the room.
Amenities & Changerooms
There are separate men’s and women’s changerooms, each equipped with two showers, washrooms, and cubbies for your belongings. Lockers are not available, so it’s best to leave valuables at home. Shower towel rentals are offered, and bodywash is provided (bring your own shampoo). There's a filtered water tap in the sink of the washroom for water bottle refills.
Class Types
Power Yoga, Power Beats, Vinyasa, Flow, Yin, Pure Core, Pure90, Ritual, Pure Sculpt, Pure Pulse
Best Beginner Class:
Yoga: Yin or Flow (all levels, difficulty depends on instructor)
Strength: Ritual (repetitive movements, slow burn) or Pure Pulse (classic mat Pilates)
Fun Classes to Try
Power Beats (I/A) – a fun twist on Power Yoga with vibey music
Ritual – a signature strength class unique to Pure Yoga (similar vibe to The Class)
What to Expect in Class
Fun, energizing classes with dynamic movement, upbeat music, and a supportive community
Best if You Like
If you love movement, enjoy challenging yourself, and a vibrant community.
Pro Tips
Be prepared to sweat - most classes get pretty sweaty, so hydrate before/after class and bring a towel. Check out Framework, Pure's sister reformer studio. Classes fill up so make sure to book in advance and come early, especially for your first time.
